This page is maintained by the Vital Vault team to describe the terms governing your use of the Vital Vault mobile application and related services ("Vital Vault"). By creating an account or using Vital Vault you agree to these terms.

1. Not Medical Advice

Vital Vault helps you track medications, log doses, and share status with people you choose. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed clinician about your medications, conditions, and care plan. Do not rely on Vital Vault for emergencies — call your local emergency number.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the information you enter, the people you link as caregivers, and keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Vital Vault.

3. Acceptable Use

Do not use Vital Vault to harass others, share content you don't have the right to share, attempt to access another user's data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free Service

Vital Vault is currently provided free of charge. We do not charge subscription fees or process payments through the app.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account and associated personal data are erased and cannot be recovered.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

Vital Vault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Vital Vault team is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
